These terms apply to every vehicle we sell and export. Please read them before placing an order.
Your Invoice Is the Agreement
Every order is governed by the invoice we issue to you before any payment is made. Because each vehicle and each destination is different, the specific terms of your purchase are set out on that invoice, including:
- the exact vehicle, grade, colour and options
- the total price and exactly what it includes
- the payment method, currency and payment deadline
- the shipping method, port of destination and shipping terms
- the expected production and delivery timeframe for that particular vehicle
Please read your invoice carefully and ask us about anything that is unclear. Once you make payment against an invoice, you are confirming that you accept the terms written on it.
Delivery Times
Delivery time is not the same for every model. Some kei cars are available from dealer stock; others are built to order and can take considerably longer. Vessel schedules, port congestion and weather also affect arrival. For this reason we confirm the expected timeframe for your specific vehicle on your invoice, and we do not publish a single delivery time for all vehicles.
The timeframe on your invoice is our best estimate based on information from the dealer and the shipping company at that moment. It is not a guaranteed date. If the schedule changes, we will tell you as soon as we know.
Prices and Currency
Our prices are set in Japanese yen. Prices shown on this website in other currencies are converted at a recent exchange rate and are for guidance only — the amount payable is the yen amount stated on your invoice. Bank transfer fees, intermediary bank fees and currency conversion costs charged by your own bank are the buyer’s responsibility.
Payment and Order Confirmation
Your order is confirmed only when your payment has been received in full, as set out on the invoice. Until payment is received the vehicle is not reserved for you and no shipping is arranged.
Shipping is arranged after payment. Once your payment is confirmed, we purchase the vehicle and begin arranging export and shipping — booking space on a vessel, preparing the export documents and completing customs formalities in Japan. We will keep you informed at each step, and we will send you the shipping details and documents once the vehicle has been dispatched.
Import Rules, Duties and Compliance
It is the buyer’s responsibility to confirm that the vehicle can be legally imported and registered in the destination country, and to pay all import duties, taxes, inspection and compliance costs there. Rules for importing Japanese kei cars vary by country and change from time to time. Please confirm the current rules with your customs authority or a licensed importer before ordering.

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
