Taro’s Kei Motors respects your privacy. This page explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
What We Collect
- Information you give us. When you use our contact form we collect your name, email address, postcode, country and the content of your message. If you contact us by email or WhatsApp, we hold that correspondence.
- Order information. If you place an order we collect the details needed to buy and ship a vehicle to you: your full name, delivery address, telephone number and any documents required for export and customs.
- Technical information. Our server keeps standard access logs. Our website stores a small cookie to remember which currency you selected, so prices stay in your chosen currency as you browse.
Why We Collect It
We use your information only to answer your enquiry, to prepare quotations, and to complete and ship your order. Postcode and country are used to calculate shipping costs accurately. We do not use your information for automated profiling.
Who We Share It With
We share only what is necessary, and only with parties involved in fulfilling your order — shipping companies and forwarders, customs authorities in Japan and in your country, and our bank for payment processing. Export documentation legally requires us to declare the buyer’s name and address.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers or marketing companies.
How Long We Keep It
Enquiries that do not lead to an order are kept while they may still be useful to you, then deleted. Records relating to completed orders and exports are kept as long as Japanese tax and export law requires.
Cookies
This website uses cookies for two purposes only: to remember your selected display currency, and for standard website functions such as security and the shopping session. You can delete cookies at any time in your browser settings; the site will simply return to showing prices in Japanese yen.
Your Choices
You may ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Where deletion would conflict with a legal record-keeping obligation, we will explain what we must keep and why.
